Quilters Quest SewEzi Machine Brace

When the first SewEzi sewing table was designed over 10 years ago sewing machines were much smaller and lighter than many of the new machines being manufactured today. Some of the large machines that fit in the SewEzi Portable sewing table are very heavy and we have developed the table brace as a safety measure to increase the tables strength and stability. It simply hooks between the cross bars of the two leg sets (see the picture above). Extra heavy machines can be used with confidence when the brace is in place.

The table brace only fits the SewEzi Portable sewing table, it is not necessary for the SewEzi Grande sewing table. SewEzi recommends the table brace for sewing machines over 13kgs (29lbs). When purchasing a Portable Table for the Bernina 7 Series it is a compulsory requirement.

The brace is also useful in high traffic areas like classrooms and shops where there is a higher risk of the table being knocked or bumped.

SewEzi sewing tables are designed to create a better sewing experience wherever you want to sew. SewEzi tables provide a personalised workstation where you can complete your patchwork and quilting projects and have the advantage of being able to be packed away when you need additional space. The SewEzi Portable sewing machine table is ideal for smaller spaces and to take to retreats and classes; the SewEzi Grande sewing machine table is the ideal sewing room workstation; the SewEzi Extension table allows you to extend your work surface, creating options in the sewing room and beyond; and the RECENTLY LAUNCHED SewEzi Cutting & Design Table is a drop leaf, height adjustable, table on castors. A comprehensive range of accessories is available.

SewEzi Portable and Grande sewing tables have a flat sewing surface. This flat sewing bed acts like a permanent extension table - it allows you to sew a few more inches at a time, and supports the weight of your project which will cause less drag. It also means that  because your machine does not sit on top of a table, your arms will not be raised those extra few inches that can cause a lot of stress and strain across your neck and shoulders. This ergonomic design allows you to sew more comfortably for longer. Look no further for sewing room furniture!
